PhD Student
Meredith Eaheart is a Ph.D. student and NEUP UNLP Fellow at the University of Michigan. Her research interests lie in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and machine learning for advanced nuclear reactors. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Nuclear Engineering and minors in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). She also earned a master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences from the University of Michigan in 2023. In addition to her academic work, Meredith has completed nuclear-related internships at Idaho National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Framatome, and Southern Nuclear. Her ultimate career goal is to contribute to the design and implementation of the next generation of nuclear reactors.
